The Southwest Washington Chapter, NECA

Chartered in 1957, the Southwest Washington Chapter of NECA has served its members and the electrical contracting industry for more than fifty years! We are a local branch of a national organization with 118 Chapters that began in 1901. NECA policies are set by its members who are represented by an elected Board of Directors. Chapter officers and staff implement policy as directed by the Board. NECA's basic objectives are:

  • To provide educational opportunities for electrical contractors to help them remain profitable in an extremely competitive business.
  • To promote effective, and harmonious labor-management relations.
  • To represent, promote, and advance the interests of its electrical contractor members.

Our member-firms are electrical contractors serving their communities in Tacoma, Olympia, Lacey, Centralia, Chehalis, Shelton, Elma, Montesano, Aberdeen, Hoquiam, and other cities within Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
Our Mission Statement

To Create a focus for electrical contractor concerns and to provide services that create value for electrical contractor members - improving their profitability. NECA's major services to members occur in management communications, publications, educational services, labor relations, government relations, insurance programs, safety and drug free workplace programs.
